easy walk from the bus terminal, very close to metro, relatively close to airport -- 30 minutes. Room was clean and big, staff were friendly. I had one night in town between arriving on the bus and going to the airport in the morning, so it was perfect.
not very convenient to city centre and nightlife, you have to ride three different metro lines to get to Sol station.
Easy to reach and leave (there are 2 metro stations nearby plus the buses), nice room (hotel appears new and clean), great breakfast offer
TV set was ancient, with minor exceptions the staff appeared to be too fresh in hotel business to make us feel at home
Specially the location of the Hotel is perfect for my business relations. Also easiness of transportation from/to airport (by bus costs €1,50 only) and cost vs quality very satisfactory. Thanks again
Very good value for money.
A bit far out from the centre of Madrid but this suited us.
The staff and being upgraded to a better room. WONDERFUL. Thank you.
I liked everything.
My first room was just behind the elevator case and was very noisy. (I could hear the cables of the elevator). They accepted to change me for a quieter room.
The bed is very bad; you can actually feel the springs in it. You have a curtain in the bathroom and the water changes temperature (I think it depends if your neighbours are using the water too) You have to pay for the wifi (actually I heard that at the beginning of the 20th century hotels used to charge their guests for hot water...) The room has an awful dirty blue carpet, a CRT TV and the chairs are stained. In other words they come to clean the room but the essence of the room is old and dirty… this hotel needs renovations…
Next to the bus station
Few people at reception desk, one of them seemed pretty new to the job
It was perfectly suited for my trip
Luxurious hotel Friendly helpful staff. Great food
bit far out of the main city but on a good bus line, and close to metro stop
Having stayed at this hotel many times during the last 5-7 years, booking through www.Booked.net the hotel is now, during the crisis, good value and at last, my last stay, end of September 2012, there was free wifi in the room. Also, the carpets in the room have been replaced with wooden flooring, a big plus. The staff without exception are excellent.
Breakfast still an expensive option, would be nice to have a very simple breakfast, coffee and pastry for Euro2.50.
Good infrastructure, quickly accessible, although located directly at a big street, no noisy at all
Good location, nice hotel
TV set should be updated, funny to see CRTs in the era of LCD TVs
Great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, great location near a metro for traveling in Madrid.
Incredible views from the upper floors. Parking available and is located right next to a Metro station.
The hotel is a typical business hotel without special charmes but convenient. On weekends, as in my case located close to family it was ok value.
The rooms need some renovation...chair was broken, and no flat screen tv - bad reception on international programming!! Wifi is not free and quite a nuisance (kubi hotspot) I consider as a big disadvantage...I Usually conect smart phone, tablet and portable when I am travelling international. In Madrid there are plenty hotels in the same price catergory that offer Internet for free...
